Mersch Elected Young Lawyer District Rep
Congratulations to O'Hara, Ruberg, Taylor, Sloan & Sergent attorney Megan Mersch for being recently elected District Representative for the Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Mersch will represent all KBA Young Lawyers from the Sixth Supreme Court District at the state level.
In her new position as District Representative, Ms. Mersch will advocate issues before the Board of Governors that are of special importance and particularly relevant to young lawyers, those being attorneys under the age of 40 or who have been in the practice of law for less than 10 years. District Representatives also assist young lawyers in their day-to-day practice, conduct valuable programs and CLE's, and strive to strengthen and reinforce to image of legal professionals in the community.
"I am proud to serve my District in the KBA, and I will do my utmost to look out for the welfare of Kentucky's young lawyers across the state. We have a great wealth of legal experience in our more-established practitioners, and I aspire to learn from and emulate those professionals so that younger attorneys can grow in professionalism and skill. Today's young lawyers are tomorrow's leaders." ~ Megan Mersch
